HEA Firebirds Basketball Program

We have been blessed in recent years to have a great amount of program success.  This year was capped with a 9th place national finish by our boys varsity team.  Our girls finished as the undisputed National Champions!!!

Our basketball program has teams for players as young as 7 or 8, depending on skill level of the player, all the way up to seniors in high school.  We endeavor to develop not only skilled athletes but more importantly followers of Christ.

*** REGISTRATION STEPS *** 

This past spring we upgraded TeamSnap.  The registration screen will look a bit different and you will need to enter information that was there from previous registrations.  You will also be able to use the TeamSnap app to register.

TeamSnap Payment Information… if you pay using your bank account vs credit card the processing fee for bank account is less.  

STEP ONE:  Complete Firebird Registration

*This Firebird Registration Fee covers fall and spring volleyball and basketball.

STEP TWO: Complete Basketball Registration

REMINDER: After September 22nd basketball fees will go up by $50/player.

REGISTRATIONS AFTER OCTOBER 2ND WILL ONLY BE ROSTERED IF THERE ARE OPEN SPOTS

Sports Physical must be emailed to Debbie (debbie@heafirebirds.org) by first practice.  In the subject line please put SPORTS PHYSICALS. 

*** UNIFORM FITTING INFORMATION***

Thursday, September 30th

7:30pm to 9:00pm

Schoolcraft College PE building in Livonia

If your player has grown or you want to ensure that they will receive the correct size, please stop by during his time frame, or contact Sandy at sandralvalentine@yahoo.com to set up an individual fitting by October 5.

If you already know your player(s)’ size, or will not be doing a fitting, please email Sandy and let me know the following information:

12u Boy Players:

You will be receiving new uniforms this year!  Sandy will have a sizing chart and measuring tape on the 30th, but will only have an adult small size as a reference, so if you would prefer to measure your player at home, let her know and I will send you the sizing charts. You can then email her the sizes.

Deposit:

There is a $100 deposit check due in order to receive your uniform. If you attend the fitting and have a check, you can take a uniform home with you. Please make checks payable to HEA Firebirds, post dated 03/01/2025. If you have multiple players, you can write one check for your family, totaling $100/player. We will return the check when the uniform(s) are turned in at the end of the season. Please email Sandy with questions or concerns on this matter.
